New customer here, this was my second purchase of Second Chance candles. The cosmetic defects have been quite minor among both shipments. The tin has a finish, which I surmise doesn't always reach all the way around the lip of the opening to the inside seam. With others, the color of the solid wax has lacked uniformity. So the store discounts these few. From my experience with about a dozen candles between the two purchases, these flaws haven't hampered the burn of the candles in any way. The aromatics fill my small office with a fairly potent aroma to which I find soothing. Vanilla is my current favorite. They work best if you allow these to burn long enough such that the wax melts all the way to the side of the tin in a single session. Before the next burn, I find it also helpful to pinch off the tip of the burnt wick, leaving 1/4 inch or perhaps even less remaining before lighting anew. Definitely recommend!
